All externships must be approved by Randall Veterinary Hospital.

 

Extern duty will involve all aspects of veterinary medicine including, but not limited to, small animal medicine and surgery, equine, ruminant, and exotic medicine and surgery.

 

 

 

Must be a senior DVM student from an accredited AVMA college of veterinary medicine.

Must be a minumum 4 week externship unless preapproved.

Externs should be covered under AVMA PLIT student coverage.

 

 

Must be a student from an AVMA accredited college/university.

Must have completed all coursework prior to externship as required by the college or university.

Must be a minumum 4 week externship.

 

The hospital provides a private suite with private bath, closet, kitchen, internet access, and cable.

 Veterinary library is accessible.
